Services

Drum tuning by genre, head replacement, cleaning and hardware restoration, session/live drum tech, and gear consultations. Available by appointment across Utah County and Salt Lake County, Utah.

01

Drum Tuning by Genre

Repeatable tuning for rock, funk, jazz, worship, or whatever you play.

Every head is tuned with a Tune-Bot to a measured resonant frequency, then adjusted for your target genre: tight and punchy for rock and funk, open for jazz, controlled and warm for worship and studio work. You leave with a spec sheet so the kit can be set to the same sound later.

  • Batter and resonant heads
  • Tune-Bot measured tuning
  • Genre-specific voicing
  • Tuning spec sheet with every kit
02

Head Replacement

New heads sourced for you, seated properly, and tuned to spec.

We source heads directly (Remo, Evans, Aquarian) and match sizes and models to your kit. Old heads come off, bearing edges get inspected and cleaned, and new heads are seated and tuned to your genre. Bulk pricing is available for drumlines and schools replacing marching heads on a season schedule.

  • Sizes and models matched to your kit
  • Bearing edge inspection
  • Seating and stretching done right
  • Season-schedule pricing for drumlines
03

Cleaning & Hardware Restoration

Shell polish, rust removal, lug cleaning, fresh felts and washers.

From a wipe-down and lube to a full teardown: shells polished, chrome de-rusted, lugs and tension rods cleaned and lubricated, new felts and washers, hoops checked for true. Ideal for used kits bought on KSL or Marketplace and vintage kits that have been sitting.

  • Complete teardown available
  • Rust and tarnish removal
  • Tension rod lubrication
  • New felts, washers, and snare wires as needed
04

Session & Live Drum Tech

Tuning and mic placement for recording sessions; tech support for shows.

We tune the kit to the room and the song, place mics for the sound you're after, and stay on hand for head swaps and re-tunes between takes. Also available as a drum tech for live shows and events.
